Interview
with 'Stone's War' director Marko Mäkilaakso -
posted 3.4.08
Stone's War is one of the most intriguing storylines for a zombie film
and we have been pretty excited about the film. Stone's War is set during
WWII in 1942. Captain Stone (Andrew Tiernan) leads a platoon of American
soldiers on a mission to destroy an enemy bunker. When they arrive at
their destination, they join forces with a Finnish Special Forces squadron
lead by Captain Niemi (Jouko Ahola) and Lt. Laasko (Miko Leppilampi).
As the combined forces assault the enemy bunker, they are met by the same
troops they had killed moments earlier during an ambush. The living dead?
Evil forces? or SS experiments gone wrong? We had the chance to speak
with Stone's War director Marko Mäkilaakso to talk about the film.
